A sweet Halloween
Chocolate glasses from beyond!
This is a dessert for true chocolate addicts. Please note that 2 preparations must be made beforehand:
Elaboration#1
· Healthy chocolate cake. We will need:
1 natural yogurt (use this container to measure the other ingredients)
3 eggs
1 container of panela or whole cane sugar
½ container of honey
¾ container of oil, half virgin olive, half sunflower or even coconut
2 +1/4 containers (180g) of whole wheat flour
½ container (25g) of pure cocoa powder
1 sachet of chemical impeller (royal type)
2 ounces of dark chocolate pieces (optional)
Step by step preparation:
Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 180º (up and down heat).
In a bowl we beat eggs and sugar until the mixture is well whitened.
We add the oil, honey and mix, then add the yogurt and continue beating.
In another bowl we mix the sifted or unsifted flour, the baking powder and the cocoa. We stir with a spoon and add it little by little to the other mixture and continue beating.
Pour onto a mold lined with parchment paper, place the chocolate pieces. Place the cake in the center of the oven and bake at 180º for about 25-30 minutes. To know when it is ready, prick the cake with a toothpick, and if it comes out without any sticky residue, it is ready.
Take out of the oven and let it cool. Cut circles the diameter of the glass you will make.
Elaboration #2
· Chocolate mousse
We will need:
170g (1 tablet) of Dark Chocolate 70
200g whipped cream
100g of sugar
3 eggs
Step by step preparation:
Melt the chopped chocolate in a bain-marie or microwave and let it cool.
Beat the yolks with the sugar until they are very creamy and a little whitish.
Add the melted chocolate, the cream and mix well (this is key to preparing the perfect mousse)
Finally, add the egg whites, whipped until stiff, with soft and enveloping movements.
Transfer the chocolate mousse to a bowl and leave it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
We will fill a glass in layers: cake+mousse+choco-hazelnut wafers. For a fun and spooky touch we will put a chocolate tombstone and bones made with wafers...delicious!
